Nursing in India: Eligibility, Courses and Job Opportunities

On average, a private nursing college may charge you anything between 50000 and 150000 INR per annum for a four year B.Sc. Nursing program.

Job Opportunities

After completing a nursing course, you will be able to work with private nursing homes, hospitals, government hospitals, armed forces, Indian Red Cross Society, orphanage, industries, Indian Nursing Council, and the so forth.

As far as monthly income is concerned, at the starting stage, you can earn 10K to 18K. You can take this income slab to 100000 per month depending on experience and institutions you are working. For instance, a permanent nurse in a government hospital earns around 50K – 80K a month.
